Lakeside Arts Park

In 2002, a major fundraising effort was underway, called the “Lakeside Legacy Project,” spearheaded by the Crystal Lake Jaycees gave over one million dollars in just 42 days to enable the hastily formed Lakeside Legacy Foundation to meet a deadline, and purchase the property, and save it for the community.

Artist Studio

Studios are charming and have great views of the surrounding neighborhood. Resident Partners become a part of a great community. Enjoy a private space to create while being near other creative artists and musicians.

Our mission is to preserve & protect the Dole Mansion and Lakeside Arts Park property for community use in a natural & historic setting. Lakeside Legacy Foundation will foster an innovative arts, education and community destination that enriches the quality of life for those we serve.
